Regional Conference 2026 underway at AGGAR Retreat Centre

The 2026 Regional Conference of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Joy Fellowship, Greater Accra East Region, is underway at the AGGAR Retreat and Resort Centre at Shai Hills.

The five-day conference, which began on Tuesday, September 22, and runs through Saturday, September 26, 2026, is being held under the theme, “The Faith of Our Fathers,” with scriptural references from Hebrews 11, Jude 1:3 and John 14:12.

PURPOSE
The gathering has brought together members of the Joy Fellowship and church leaders for a period of worship, teaching, fellowship and spiritual reflection.

A key focus of this year’s conference is “Women of Faith in Action – To Possess Their Possessions,” drawing lessons from the biblical accounts of the daughters of Zelophehad in Numbers 27:1–7, Deborah in Judges 4:4–24, and Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:9–28.

SPEAKERS
The programme features a number of speakers and church leaders, including the Regional Superintendent, Rev. Andrews Nelson Awintia; Rev. Theophilus Klortey Odonkor; Rev. Bismark Boadi Sarpong; and Rev. Dr. Christina Otoo Lartey.

Other personalities scheduled to contribute to the programme include Mrs. Gladys Akoto Joy Fellowship National Organiser, and Rev. Georgina Abotsi,Regional Women’s Ministry Director.

The organisers say the conference is focused on strengthening the faith of participants and encouraging them to draw inspiration from previous generations while putting their faith into action.

The programme continues through Saturday, September 26, at the AGGAR Retreat Centre, Shai Hills.
